    Bankrupt company search

I have my eye on a nice domain name, however the domain is pointing into nothing, and the whois information only shows when it was last updated, which was something like 2000. There are no other pieces of info such as hosts etc. It is a UK domain and i need to know if the company has gone bankrupt or something. Is there a website where i could find this infomation? I think this is a UK company. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Cheers Chris

    Re: Bankrupt company search

I have recently had an email from Nominet, who tell me that the domain was owned before they started their business! So the story goes on that if they dont sign to Nominets contract (any normal person wouldn't sign!) then it will never expire! A kick in the balls for me! A good one for the domain owner!
