What would you say this one would cost to buy today? Resell not retail

I am thinking of buying it for $500 and I would like your thoughts on it.
If bought, it would be developed big with good design.

All I'm saying is that if a rule is a rule, then we ought to abide by it. Rather than simply ignoring the rule, lobby to have it changed. Make an argument for amending the rule. WHY was the rule initiated in the first place?? My guess is that there was a good reason or multiple good reasons for its inclusion.
Simple. Not a big deal ... make a case for the rule to be lifted.

I suggested Ice post an appraisal for this name. This was one of several he was considering buying or developing. We have seen many 3 letter .us sell at sedo for $300-$500, not even words.

Is that a reliable indicator of value for this type of name? The sales surprised me, and made me wish I had gotten more of these when they were available.

If it's not worth $500 today, you're probably not overpaying by much. $500 sounds cheap to me on the retail end. "Wholesale" is merely a convenient program for speculators to convince the rest of the world they should pay less for domains than anyone else.
