    Best way to trade domains

    Hi All,

I found a domain name I'm interested in and contacted the owner. He's willing to trade the name for two of mine. I don't know this person (the deal is being down off the forum) and am wondering if anyone can advise on the best way to trade so I don't get burned.

    Thanks.

    Bill

How about something like this: both parties set up sales to each other at escrow.com for a nominal fee, such as anywhere from $1 to $100. Each "sale" gets completed through escrow.com, with each party receiving the same amount of money from the other; the only necessary expense of doing business is the minimum escrow fee, which imo is a small price to pay compared to doing a "leap of faith" transfer if this method winds up working out well.

Both can push the domain to me and I will act as the middleman.

I will then push to the other party. If one side fails to push their domain, I will push domain back to original person

There was a thread on here that someone was scammed the same way. They pushed the name to the other party and they didnt send theirs so be careful. If you need a middleman, I will be glad to assist.
