Hi

I have this question about my country tld .ee
In this moment there is only one service that is offering .ee registration. They not charge for it! You can only register one .ee domain and only then if You have company! And the domains never drop, You can`t sell domain`s and so on.

My question is there any change I could also get rights from ICANN so I could open my own registrar for .ee domains? Who should I contact? Has someone done something like that? I would also start charging some fees, let domains drop and so on.. like .com.

Each country (I believe) sets the rules and regulations for their own ccTLD. If you want to pursue something with the .ee country, then you might want to send an email to the administrator of the .ee domain.

Yes, but this eenet is also independent? I think! I mean coverment does not to anything? I don`t get it - for example .de domains, You can register them in many registrars? Is it different?

I think EuroID manages .ee but I am not sure.

I dont think registrations are open yet though. How could some registrar be giving them away when last I heard, there are no ee registrars accredited yet.
