If possible spend time with them... make a plans for the day or go to a movie or something.
If the person is far away, gift basket or gift card for coffee shop/movie tickets. unless you're talking a large budget...like a new car. hehehe

The best gift to a domainer is a domain name! LLL.com would be nice as I have been very good not to piss anyone off here![]()
But of course! Has to be a good name. Or a new web server. Maybe some inbound links as a stocking stuffer?
All offers good for 72 hours except running auctions

The best Christmas gift for a domainer is a blonde lapdancer because we stay too much time in front of a pc
Option two: a book "The Domain Game" - David Kesmodel.

A nice stack, like 50-100 pages, of original content on several niche topics.

A cat!! As we know now, domainers are savvy cat owners. Why not adopt a cat from your local rescue center on their behalf.![]()
Read my blog, use my domain tools (Domain Portfolio Manger, Whois History, Domainer Directory and More) http://GUA.com
I know GoDaddy, I'm sure others do as well, offer gift cards. Perfect to give or get for the holidays.
Do what I do, I always find coupons for a free bag of cat / dog food. It's usually low end food (crappy) that I wouldn't feed my animals but shelters love donated bags of food (get the food then donate it, don't donate the coupon).
Edit: Or your local rescue fosterer / volunteer / coordinator.

I assumed the "pages" would be written digitally, i.e from a desktop, pocketpc. etc.
I've heard of people witting whole books on their subway commutes on their cellphone!
Right, that's why I would want it as a giftI wouldn't want to do all that typing.![]()
