I'd love to try out GoogleTV. Hardly a novel idea but worth experiencing. An exciting future for the tv lies ahead as it gradually evolves into the main entertainment system in the home. However, I don't think GoogleTV has what it takes to erode some of the gaming console market. That's a bloody tough market to penetrate. Microsoft lost millions of dollars during the first year of launch for the original Xbox in major markets including the UK and Japan. I admire Microsoft's resolve to stick their guns and educate themselves on the video gaming industry. The only way to "eat" up some of the console gaming market is to be a direct competitor rather than a peripheral competitor. It is for this reason why PC, Console and Mobile gaming markets are analyzed separately.

I don't get it. Are you saying that another company stole your idea?
