I didn't say it wasn't wise to own both ... Not to mention they are an older established company to begin with. They didn't "Build or Brand" themselves online. Considering they do own both versions , They lose no traffic.
merriam-webster.com is another well known site redirecting all other domains to the Hyphenated version. But Also established well before the internet was even dreamed of.
Companies/Sites like those do advertise , But don't have to advertise like a newly formed company would have to. Less chance of losing traffic for them ... IMO ~
I think its worth investing in good hyphenated .com names they are rocketing up in value i think in the next few years people will miss the boat prices will be to high to get a quality one. I have World-News.com i think it will be worth huge cash in the future. But evan when your parking names with hyphens . dosent matter what dot they are they optimize good and ern cash.

World-News.com is remarkable as a hyphenated domain. Others that one might agree are excellent, valuable and highly desirable often appear nonetheless a bit forced and awkward, but not this one.
I own Image-Gallery dot com, which was appraised at 1k+. I believe with the hyphenated version the only real option is to develop and probably look for an end user.
That sedo link looks like a fake auction. Way too high, and an odd domain. There are many combinations of words like that that are available for registration in .com.
But if someone likes the dash, i have a great two word debt domain. I can make you a good deal: Consolidate-Debts.com.
lordbyroniv? Offers? I actually paid a lot for this domain but have never built it out.
