Anyone mention Love, Actually?
Saw a little known movie recently called "Serenity". It was so much fun I had to go get the whole "Firefly" TV series. We didn't know what we were in for but my wife, my sister, my brother and I all liked it a lot. They don't even like Sci-Fi.
This is almost as hard as listing your 10 favorite songs or bands, but here goes ...
1. The Inspector General (Danny Kaye was an amazing talent)
2. Hoop Dreams (opened my eyes to some realities of poor inner-city life, plus I love basketball!)
3. Lord of the Rings trilogy (old Tolkien fan; minor story-change quibbles kept it from #1 or 2)
4. Spellbound (the recent spelling documentary, not the old Hitchcock classic)
5. A Christmas Story (read the book this is based on when I was a kid)
6. Stripes (Bill Murray, silly fun)
7. This is Spinal Tap
8. March of the Penguins (I wish people cooperated that well)
9. To Kill a Mockingbird
10. The Princess Bride
