    german help ?

    Hello my German friends.

I'd like to know if the words "car" and "auto" are equal in german everyday usage.

for instance, if I wanted to name a car dealership CarHaus.com or AutoHaus.com
are they both good names ?
In other words, is CARgermanword.com just as good as AUTOgermanword.com ?

    Danke !!!

Autohaus is great while Carhaus sounds really strange and is a bad mix of words. Car sometimes normally Auto, KFZ =Kraftfahrzeug and PKW is used here. Possible you should check mobile.de for some more information and ideas.
