I registered it to set up a site that has been back burnered for the last 2 years. I get a solicitation to sell the domain from a company, but they want a "professional appraisal". The amount they are willing to pay is directly porportional to the amount of the appraisal. The caveat is that they want it to be appraised through:
GreatDomains.com, ValDomains.com, or Hollywooddomains.com
So my question is which of these companies will give me the highest appraisal?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it's a scam. You did not get a real offer, but an attempt to pull you in to pay for an appraisal from the scammer himself.
