DNF$: 51 | Re: High Impact Sites: Inside Adam Dicker’s Domain Empire An excerpt of the DN Journal story in which I particularly enjoy, as it seems to be something that is commonly forgotten in the domain community:
"The key to remember on a $7 domain is that if it makes more than 2 cents a day it is profitable at the end of the year. "
Well-written article Duke, I enjoyed it. |

DNF$: 5,838 Location: Florida | Re: High Impact Sites: Inside Adam Dicker’s Domain Empire I appreciate all of your comments on the article and Adam's cooperation so that I could put it together. I had been thinking about doing a piece on him for close to a year but kept waiting for Adam to slow down! He was always bringing something new to the forum so I thought I would wait until he had all of the pieces he wanted in place. I finally realized that was never going to happen, as he just keeps building and building, so I finally decided I might as well just go ahead and do it!
There is only one thing I would like to add. It's about this passage in the article: "Dicker has gained a reputation as a guy who is always willing to share his knowledge and ideas for wringing more revenue from domain investments." That statement came from comments I have been hearing more and more from various people in recent months. "Trader" on this forum, who just became a moderator here (he decided to volunteer his time because of the help Adam has given him), has bought a lot of domains from me and we are usually in touch every week. For weeks now he has been telling me "Adam showed me how to do this and how to do that..." and on and on...so I asked him to send me his thoughts on Adam so I could cite a specific source rather than just use the general statement that is in the article.
Trader agreed but a family problem came up for him yesterday and he wasn't able to get his comments to me before my deadline. I'd like to share those below as they are typical of what I have been hearing from others (keep in mind Trader started saying this long before he signed up to moderate):
"To say I am impressed with Adam Dicker would be an understatement. Adam is the most sharing and giving person I have ever met on the web. He routinely shares his wealth of knowledge about domains and websites and how to make money on the internet with not only his Exclusive Club members but also on a personal level too, often volunteering information without anyone asking.
He also has some amazing and little known ways to profit on the web which he quickly and generously shares with his dnforum.com members on a regular basis. In addition to being so sharing and giving, he is also extremely forgiving in that he accepts apologies of some members who may have somehow violated forum rules and welcomes them back quite readily. I can't begin to tell you the impact Adam had made on my online business and personally!" - Trader
Having joined this forum soon after founder Dan Gessler started it in 2002 I know there were concerns among the membership each time the forum changed hands. However, when you look at where the forum is today and the respect Adam has earned I think you have to feel good about where this community is headed.

And like trader and many others here I have learned a lot from Adam. Right now I am implementing a tip I received from Adam here at DNF which should increase my earnings by at least 15-20%. That one tip is worth 10 times the cost of my exclusive membership!
