Country: | 'i' or 'e' better in front of a keyword? In general, which letter is better to have in front of a keyword, if you had to choose one or the other? e.g.: igreen.com or egreen.com? evoyage.com or ivoyage.com? what makes you decide one or the other?

| Platinum Lifetime Member | E is better known, but it would depend on how it sounds and looks. I like E as it hurts the domain less, but the fact is anyone of them hurt the value. I would take the .net over them as well, it's really a matter of value for me.

Country: | I think that the "i" phone has done a heck of a lot to brand the "i" as perhaps the new standard, as if the iPod hadn't done it already. I remember about the eCommerce thing but it seems like the shift is to the letter "i" as in the recent iReport.com sales and others. |

Country: | Depends on the word after the 'i' or the 'e' and also the usage. iloan might not be right for a company producing loans whereas eloan is perfect. iphone or ireport works well. eCommerce is in fact a dictionary term and a part of our modern life. Doing business online is referred to as eCommerce. The 'i' is newer in terms of usage but not the same as 'e', ibay would not sound right. ![]() |

Country: | alot of words (even two word domains) with "my" on the front get type-ins..trust me "my" is way better and search engines don't really factor it in to the seo scoring/ranking of a domain, they are "blind" to it...add that to your list of prefixes... |

Country: | I agree that Apple has done a lot to boost the 'i', ipod, imac, itunes, iphone. The more products they release like that the better for the 'i'. Also agree that 'my' is a good prefix for many keywords.
