Ah there it is...that English humour.
I gotta tell ya. I've seen the prices for some premium domains in my time. And I almost choked on air. Now lets just hope that the potential buyer has a sense of humor.

Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!This morning I received an offer for one of my domains from sedo, it was a $100 offer, so I was just going to 'cancel' the negotiations - but of course on sedo you cannot cancel 'negotiations' until you have made at least one counter offer.
So I decided to make a counter offer, $50k, but I did explain in the comments that this was for the specific portfolio of over 460 domain names, and that I was not willing to split up the portfolio and sell them off individually. I thought it would save the offerer wasting his/her time trying to offer slightly more over the next few weeks without standing a chance of actually getting the individual domain. I sent off the counter offer but then got to thinking, of course s/he will see the counter offer first without any comments - I really do hope that s/he wasn't eating or drinking at the time they saw my counter offer, I would hate for them to choke because of it.
I think Sedo should hold counter offers back until they have okayed any associated comments with the counter offer and send them together, as we don't want prospective buyers dying on us needlessly.![]()

Infoproliferati, well the British humour is the best in the world, after all it needs to be ....................!
Well this morning I received an increased offer from the offerer, so obviously s/he wasn't eating or drinking when my offer was received.
I have sent a message back explaining that the situation has not changed and will not. In a way I feel sorry for the offerer as they obviously want the domain, but unfortunately for them it is not available. That does not mean though that I will be going soft and let them have it, I will just have to live with being hard-hearted.![]()

Business is business. I bet whoever made the offer understands that it's nothing personal. Good thing the person wasn't eating or drinking. How could you have ever lived with yourself?![]()
Hey Bill! As of late I have gotten a spate of offers from buyers at sedo for 60 dollars - the first few I explained that I was not interested in pocketing a mere 10 dollars off the sale - any counter came to naught. But they continued on other domains - and it got me to thinking who would benefit by buying domain names at 60 bucks a pop. Why sedo of course; pick up some cherries for 10 bucks each - not bad just a wee bit over reg cost.
They have recently stopped - but the pattern was too frequent to be coincidental.
