.info's on 1st page of Google.

I would like to know if any .info domains made it to the 1st page of Google for any keyword anywhere in the world.

Hint:-Let's not fight about the .info prices/valuations here!

Years ago I made a small site for a friends' practice. Only the [profession].info name was available so i took it. It ranked on the first page fairly quick and has gained her extra clients ever since.

This kind of thread about .info seems to 'do-the-rounds' every so often. It would seem that those who want .info to be a non-entity in search results just cannot get it in to their brains that .info can rank well. (But then again I am biased as I will soon be launching over 1,150 NEW geo .info sites, most of which will have little competition from .com/.net/.org, so I am somewhat hoping that they will rank well - fingers crossed. )

the whole tld was killed by google for any high value cpc term

we had a ton on page one for a while

nice cpc terms

then the whole thing collapsed

they still hit page 1 yahoo and bing, but not traffic there

so maybe google let's 'geo' terms that have no one buying them really so the cpc is low still hit

but any high cpc term

I don't know of any on google now

i define high cpc term as over 10 or even 20 cpc

dollars not cents

germany.info #7 here way out of first view

high cpc terms are all usually lower in traffic so first view is all that matters

but a nice geo hit

but cpc on germany isn't a big cpc term

since I can show a bunch of almost brand new sites and even blank pages with no PR that are all page one

so first page is not effect by pr and .info's do not hit page 1 for high value cpc terms

I say the tld has no high cpc terms now on page one of google

last year they did

MINE

now they're gone

so I got a ton of tld's still on page 1 google for high value cpc terms

yet all my .info's gone

only the maps I hit are still up

and I can hit a map with any tld

so the discussion is

show some examples of page 1 for .info

you got some, nice geo keywords

all I know is we had started to pop them for high value cpc terms

then google killed off the tld

since our other tld's still pop page 1 for big dollar cpc terms

it's not us, it's the .info tld

google killed it

now if someone can produce high value cpc terms over 10 bucks on page one of google produce them

they don't exist IMO

maybe I'm wrong

all I know is loved that tld until a year ago
