I have a feeling shill bidding is going on or someone is trying to sabotage the auction. 2 bidders are pumping the price to nearly 999,999.01. One of the bidder has a 0 feeback and other one with 3. Buyers with good feedback have retracted or cancelled their bids.

Chances are it would have been a paperweight anyway. Any new technology or services it utilizes won't be available until launch and this is a PROTOTYPE (if it is real) which means it still has al the bugs.

Someone in their dev or testing department is probably losing their job, though.
