Zombie Movie Bong of the Dead - Get it on DVD or via Digital Download Today! ~ "This is a sure winner." - Tommy Chong
haha, nope. The screen is very large, it weighs less than the iphone and has a bigger screen. Typing is actually very easy. Only downside so far is the 4gb SDcard, but I am going to buy a 16gb for it anyways. I was able to get it for $180.
Lol.
To me the touch screen keypad is way too small. I've had the good old G1 (HTC android phone) for over a year now and love being able to flip out a keypad. I also have the same touchscreen keypad option for when my keyboard is closed but it drives me crazy to use it.
I had the G1 prior to this, I love that phone. But I have to say, this is much more than I expected, just turn the phone sideways and you have a full keyboard, no mistakes, beautiful.
Yeap, more and more apps are coming out for the droid and considering how many phones are now using this platform its inevitable for it to catch up with iphone app count.
I am loving this phone, the apps that come on it are pretty amazing. Put it on car mode and just talk to it, tell it where you want to go, who you want to call, etc. It searches the closes store you are requesting and gives you directions. That is just one of the apps. The camera is also VERY good.
Nice that it has a decent camera, that was my main complaint about G1. Glad you're liking it so far Mike, it sounds pretty cool. By the time I'm ready for a new phone maybe they'll be launching the NexusTwo by then. I'll be sticking with an Android phone when I have to replace mine.
As far as being a iPhone killer, I doubt. I'm sure Apple will come out with something just as snazzy if they haven't already.
It is inevitable. HTC / Droid / Google are already working on new phones. Nexus One is definitely going to be a iphone killer, the only thing it is lacking is the number of apps, which will soon follow.
iPhone only has a fan base, even if a phone matched up to it had better stats (Nexus One does) people would still pick the iPhone because its a Apple product and the snazzy commercials, etc.
But... Apple Stock $211.98 a share, Google Stock $602.06 ~ which company do you really think is going to do best? The one with google dollars for development? Or the one that rather mac cute commercials![]()
