... because this guy literally knows very little about the domain name industry ():

Buying a domain name can still be a quick, and relatively inexpensive, endeavor. Network Solutions (www.networksolutions.com), Yahoo Domains (domains.yahoo.com), and other companies sell domain names of various types, from .com to .org, typically for $35 per year or less.
OMG! I almost thought it was a dated article! LOL!
Profoundly influenced by #Bauhaus, @Nameslave unrepentantly embraces #Minimalism in his #multimedia portfolio. His early works include an experimental adaptation of Chekhov’s Cherry Orchard inspired at least partly by Robert Fripp. His totally irrelevant M.Ed. dissertation examines Organizational Culture and Change Management.

I believe he was talking about this paragraph. He doesn't mention dnforum, he mentions domainstate instead.

A number of publications now cover such machinations in detail. These include Domain Notes (www.domainnotes.com), Domain Name Journal (www.dnjournal.com), DomainState (www.domainstate.com) and Internet Goldrush (www.igoldrush.com).

I too started in January of 1997 to buy and sell domains, and this guy has not a clue about the real world. I actually emailed him and asked if he wanted to write a REAL article....LOL

Coverage is nice, the last time my name was mentioned in a syndicated article - my email box was on overload....LOL
