The entire structure of the web with the current TLDs in under attack.
In 10 year period we won't even recognize what's up & what's down.
"Long Term" is no more than 12 months.
As long as there are reverse domain highjackers (similar to cockroaches), there will always be the chance you'll be targeted.
Domain price will be declining in the coming period,IMO.
