I remember a guy at Afternic called "Boston" who had a lot of these ON names. His site is www.comdeals.com
I didn't like them back then - I don't like them now. I see no purpose in them.
I try to behave.... but can not resist that this reminds me of the classic poem "Twas The Night Before Christmas..."
"Now DD he regged 'em and called 'em domains;
They all were dotcoms with some very good names!

If anyone wants one, just give me a holler!
OnSeafood! OnOwner! OnDodge and OnPart!

You may not like them Popper but I happen to know Boston has done very well with them.. whatever works for you I guess.
Dome ..talent just oozzing out of you...![]()
Funny you should mention, when I saw these names, all that was in my head was, "on comet, on cupid, on dancer, on vixen...." whatever the reindeers names were...Originally posted by DomeBase

I guess you could put the word On before any domain, but I'm still not sure what it suggests. Online? It sounds funny, instead of online.

That's cool Bid. I wasn't saying anything bad about him - and I even gave his link.Originally posted by bidawinner

I was just saying I don't get the word "ON" as a prefix. I think most of us would agree from the looks of it.
"GO" I could understand.

Oh, yeah I understand Popper didnt mean to imply anything.. Just saying he seems to do just fine branding them.. "ON" dosent do anything for me either...
OK Cool. You know how things can get ... s t r e t c h e d ... sometimes.
I was just making sure too. Thanks for the friendly clarification.![]()
Well I didnt think OnPart.com sounded that bad. Sounds like it might make for a good play-wright website (I believe I spelled that right lol). Perhaps a website that sells movie scripts?
DomeBase, very funny)
Wow. Stirred up lot of opinions!
I have to admit - I do kinda like the way GM branded "OnStar" for their 24hr. Roadside Assistance Program.
