What people have to remember is most of the other big players out there have investors / partners, EL has none, not one!

With great names like: Party.com, ibiza.com, Media.com, cool.com, jackass.com, multimedia.com, sexual.com, newyear.com, rockandroll.com, fed.com, ai.com, i.net, dj.net, mobiles.net, music.tv

I could go on and on....

The great thing about Mr A is he's one of the most down to earth guys you will ever meet. Many other big players out there create blogs shouting about how great they are, what they have achieved and how much they are worth etc - While all this is going on EL is lurking in the shadows picking up great names without saying a single word.

The only downfall with Elequa is... Each time we party in london he can't handle his drink, he's a bit of a light weight! Plus i think he wears thongs as he walks kinda funny and with a limp, sorry buddy but its true, you know your brother wouldnt lie

It would be difficult to assess who has the most valuable portfolio, because each name being unique, has a different value to everyone.

RS may not have the largest portfolio, but from what I know of it, it's quality - and the thing he does is ring more value from a name (when he comes to sell one...) than anyone else.

If I were a better salesman than I am, I could get far higher prices for my names than I do - and then my portfolio would have a totally different, higher value.

Another thing to consider - if renewal prices keep rising, a smaller but higher quality portfolio will have more value than a larger one - you may even see some of the mega-portfolio holders dropping a few names here and there....

i know the post is "who has the richest portfolio" etc but has most people made their money from domaining or running sites etc or have they made their money from somewhere else and then got into this industry and invested wisely???
