Post what "You Think" is your best name!! Some think of the commerical aspects (I'm in this group), and for others a name isn't just about it being "worth alot". It's what the domain name "means" to them personally. So they do have value! I've never gotten rid of my first domain: credithound.com
DTobias, if my memory serves me correct has always adovocated the "non-commerical" value of domain names. He is someone I respect a great deal. Hopefully he will post a name here too.
for the same reason , my first reg were

You do realize that the guy's name was Schindler and not Schindlers, right?

hmm, for my personal favorite name from my portfolio would prolly be Program.com or clips.com. No sentimental value for either of those, though.
Sure, of course his name was Schindler.Originally posted by draqon

As has been said his "fame" comes from his list of Jews, saved from mistreatment by the Nazis. These people were placed on Schindler's List of people he helped save - it was not "Schindler List", it was "Schindler's List".
The site names those fortunate enough to have appeared on Schindler's List (or "Lists" as there were more than one), sadly many more were not as fortunate.
Thanks... Picking just one is hard, since all my domains are well-suited for their purpose. But I'll pick tiffany.org as my "best" domain, since, as far as I'm aware, it's the only tiffany.TLD domain in existence that's neither (1) hoarded "protectively" by the Tiffany & Co. jeweler, or (2) hoarded uselessly by a squatter / speculator. Instead, it has meaningful content: a fan site about the singer Tiffany... and a few days ago I met Tiffany and her manager when she gave a concert here in Florida, and they both had seen my site and appreciated it.Originally posted by izopod

Hey Izopod Out of everything I own, Sturgis.us is the best. Way better than any of my .coms. Boy did I get a deal on that name. Stole it for just under $1k. The seller probably didn't have a clue. What do you think? Doc
I think Sturgis.us was a STEAL for under 1k... congrats!Originally posted by Stocdoctor
