Single word coms are some of the most valuable...however, if it's unregged, then I would suggest saving the reg fees...very few good domains slip through the crack and end up as available.

I'm currently squeezing the English dictionary through WHOIS.
I notice that about 10% of the single word .COM's is NOT registered. Ofcourse, these are not the words the world is looking for, but some of them really are quit nice or have a certain ring to them.
Do these single word .COM's have any value at all, just because the consist of one single word? I see many people advertising in the sales thread with stuff like "Single word .COM's for sale"...
I would like your (professional) opinion on this!
If the WHOIS is all done, I will consider posting the list on here, if people would like that!

.
At the top of the .com craze, 98% of the dictionary was .COM'ed. People are now realizing that just because it is a dictionary word, it is not necessairily valuable. If they are unregistered, it is probably for a reason.

. . .
most of the remaining 1 word .com are difficult words ...
e.g. bemire.com
do anyone know what's the meaning of this word?
hey hey hey don't open your dictionary!
GOV.HM - make offer
Tino I'd be very interested.
Nothing to do with their value, but I am a journalist, and I love the english language. Which is why I have a few odd domains like jibbed.com (my favourite slang word ever) even though it's probably worth $0
If you don't post the list here you could email me a copy> daniel@zfilter.com

Okay,
One machine is currently working on the list. Most probably, it won't be accurate anymore when it's done, but after I scrutinized the list I will PM them to some ppl...

Indeed, the names so far are fairly hard, and me, as a Dutch person, had to hit http://www.dictionary.com quit some times. Although some names are hard or complex, they have a nice meaning.

Ofcourse, I'm looking for the most complete file with dictionary words. The current list I have is not too big. So most probably, I will miss some words.
I someone knows where I can get a complete list of all English words; I'm interested!

At my old local library, there was an entire bookshelf devoted to the many many volumes of their English dictionary.
I expect your script would take SOME TIME to go through the ENTIRE English language.
I'd be interested in seeing the list once it is complete.
Some time ago I made something similar using Wordox dictionary.
The main advantage of this one is that you can find the words according to their length, so you can save some coding.
So, I registered some names like:
OWSE.com
caffs.com
chathy.com
dogey.com
reDye.com
reOil.com
reSaw.com
dhals.com
faquir.com
fatted.com
jibing.com
maills.com
wakers.com
etc.
This is not the exact source I used (can't find it), but I believe the dictionary is the same:

Looks like a great list.
I'll see if I can match it with my list. My list only holds about 110,000 words...

I don't really understand the question I'm afraid... Could you rephrase it?
