"Mrs. Jello" is just an illustration to this story (real live example, credential to the story, "emotional connection") but the issue was Dynadot. In cases of Dynadot and previously DirectNic there are simply too many conicidences in too short period of time to accept them at such.

Defending your NJ neighbor by explaining that infinitely repeated shit like is always a "coincidence" while at the same time not even bother mentioning the reason for this story (Dynadot) and by attacking somebody who never done anything to you now is akin to worst case of junkyard backalley PR (no doubt, you scored some brownie points with him, I hope he throws you a bone or two next time).

even namecheap has been accused of this. They are not even a registar. I know this is just dnf and np style talk, but enough already. There is no prove whatsoever that the "quary information" is being sold.

For all you doubters, perform the following test:

1. Go to overture, be creative, and find say 10 unregistered meaningful two word terms that have some searches (most of the time you won't find anything over a thousand, but few hundred or even few dozen will do).

2. Don't do anything for two days.

3. On the third day go ahead and check these names using Dynadot bulk search (making sure that none of them are registered at that time or recently)

4. Don't do anything for two more days.

5. On the fifth day repeat the step 3. and see how many of these names are registered then?

Do that over time, and puff, the freakish "coincidence" argument dissappears and deliberate pattern emerges.

Re: Stay Away From Dynadot!!!!!

Regardless of whether it's Uncle Fester or the Wizard of Oz doing it, query snatching is real. I do most of my domain searches via domain.com, and each and every time clusters of domains are registered by the same companies. Without knowing the technical details of the mechanism involved with the process, it is a hard thing to really discuss.

US based Chesterton Holdings was the main perpetrator for a long time. Chesterton seems to have now morphed into several obscure Asian based companies [Wan Fu, etc].

Unless they have a wire plugged into my brain, I'm not sure where in the hell they're doing this research. Ironically it's my domain based research that lead me to the observation of this occurrence in the first place.

I suggest you go back to the nuthouse you came from. They do treat schizoid manias nowadays.

I think that coming second simply makes you a sore loser and you're just pissed about it. I have no brownie points to score. I pay top dollar for top domains.

Mrs. Jello is not my neighbor. On the other hand, which cave are you in?

Me attacking you? You seem to forget the filthy post you made earlier that the mods deleted.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I agree. There can be no way that they are searching for the exact things that I am searching for.

sasquatchnuts.com is available. Shall we all query it a couple of times and see if Wan-Fu bites?

That comment wasn't even directed to you, but to that "consumers" character - so piss off.

Want me to quote what you said, about me "licking hairy asses" just because I defend a respectable member whom you chose to bash, based on your FAILURE to secure domains?

No buddy. YOU piss off.

Re: Stay Away From Dynadot!!!!!

Does anyone here understand the query process, where the queries are pulled from, where they could be collected and possibly mined, etc.? I've had domains picked up by Chesterton Holdings, and each query was sent through different websites [some with domain.com, some with GoDaddy, etc]. So obviously there is a leak in the data pool way up the food chain above and beyond the registrars themselves. How that works out, I have no idea. Any information would be much appreciated.

Chesterton Holdings was front for Domain Sponsor's parent company Oversee.net naughty venture that now has half a million domains on their own. It's deliberate tactic to appear as if outside of US juristiction or legal reach (same shit played by that yucky Sigmund character of New Orleans who pretended "they were" in Kenya).

Re: Stay Away From Dynadot!!!!!

Most people don't understand that if there are 40 million registered domains, there are 100 million recycled domains, including some that recycle several times over on a constant basis for traffic purposes.

This clown here suggests that a registrar is selling WHOIS queries to Mrs. Jello, just because an established traffic business like that of Mrs. Jello LLC is beating his sore ass in registering domains with traffic.
