Still many good domains out there... despite what people think!

Today I was looking for a domain for a site that I am setting up as a db of all player uniforms.

eg, will have all sports teams and all players that wear a particular uniform number.

For example:

Who wore number 13 for the Chicago cubs?

Here the answer:

13-Claude Passeau, Hal Manders, Bill Faul, Turk Wendell, Jeff Fassero, Will Ohman, Rey Ordonez, Neifi Perez

anyways my point is that I went looking for domains and found some great names that were unregistered to my surprise that I regged today.... here they are:

I agree that there's tons of great domains out there, but people aren't looking in the right places, everyone's looking for webmaster*something*.com or web*something*.com or LLL.com or LLLL.com
There's probalbly tons out there that are great, the only problem is that they'll get longer and longer but never run out.

Probably not great names for reselling, but might make for a couple good databases of past "A"s and sister sites to display home and away shirts of the teams.

did any one register montenegro names? this is an indepnedent nation now. any business associated with this newly independent country will need a distinct online name other than what they used before...

I would be interested in knowing if these good domains that are left break even from the reg fee after one year. In my eyes a good domain should at the very least support itself if it does not sell within the first year. I suppose everyone has their own definition of what great, good, poor buys are though. For instance I thought shop solar panels.com would be a good buy, it gets about 1 visitor a month. Who knew no-one on this planet is interested in shopping for solar panels?? I must admit though mining is fun; even if it turns out to be a bust the slight thrill that you may have found something is exciting.

I find good domains to reg (sometimes with natural traffic) all the time. It's actually fairly easy to do.
