TIP: Google Search can be used to pull list of Domains for a particular Extension

Hi,
Was just browsing through the websites when suddenly i thought how many domains are registered and are indexed in google for a particular extension.

in google searchbox , type this

site:.co.in

you will get the entire list of that extention (cctld). You can always go to advance search,
1) change the display to 100 / page
2) Put keywords to pull out only those domains that have those keywords and exclude certain keywords..

very useful utility and can be used as a search tool for other domain extentions as well..

it was a bit new to me as i had always used this function (site for searching a particular site but never a particular extension.

Interesting, 25 billion .com and 1.5 billion .info apparently the .info extension was spammed to death

one site will have multiple results due to all indexed website pages will appear .. so a.com with 10 pages , b.com with 2 pages will have 12 results ...... not exactly unique results but near by .. the thing is.. the output of the search will display websites url of that extn only!!
