.Travel Anyone?

Has anyone here had any experience with registering a .travel domain? I know a few travel agents, ***wink, wink***, so was just wondering what folks here think of the speculative / development value of the tld. What sparked my curiosity, is I just noticed a few high profile websites floating around out in Google using the extension.

Same observation here, just noticed Poland.travel is in beta.

I pulled the following restriction data from Travel.travel

"The .travel TLD is intended to serve the global travel community. .travel is restricted to people, organizations, associations, and private, governmental and non-governmental agencies in the travel and tourism industry. The registrants are not limited to, but may fall within, the industry types set out in the table below, which is provided only as a list of illustrative categories and types, and not as a restriction of the general eligibility requirement.

The Registry may establish stricter requirements for registrants by published policy statement. The Registry may extend the list of industry types from time to time by published policy statement, provided that any such extension is consistent with the travel community’s perceptions about the prevailing scope of the community as evidenced by the support of such extension by the travel industry as communicated to TTPC and the Registry through its policy outreach procedures.

4. Bus/Taxi/Limousine Operators

I'm kinda of surprised that events industry personnel aren't allowed to apply for them.
People travel for the larger cons & expos, and having a .travel extension would be useful for setting up a secondary site detailing or providing travel and accommodation arrangements for that event.

Just saw another TV advert with one - visitflorida.travel/uk - what an ugly looking url to be spending your advertising $ on.
