What does the Google w/ext and Google w/o ext mean exactly in SartNames "Link Popularity" results?
I have started building a new site which is not promoted and gets very little traffic, and I run it through StartName just out of interest, and got the following:
Google: 0
Google w/ext: 41
Google w/o ext: 14,300 !?!
Mr.Haze
w/ext = with extension = mydomain.com
w/o ext = without extension = mydomain
So basically what that those stats are saying is that someone has a site with the same name but a different extension to mine, and that it's roughly 1,000 times more popular!?Originally Posted by whitesocks
your domain, without the extension included means " how many results" for the terms or actual words, that make up your domain name.
your domain, with the extension included means "how many results" for "yourdomain.com"
