I received an email from Domiansbot about changes in the Local Whois Services. Just wondering what those changes are if anyone knows? See Below:
Due to important changes in LocalWhois Services, we have been forced to
discontinue our free API Service. The expired domain search tool will
be available on DomainsBot.com.
Every API using LocalWhois Free Engine will be discontinued on
12/24/2002.
Wow, that didn't last long. I guess it didn't add anything to their bottomline.
One Word Domains and Good Keyword .com's for sale >> http://www.ModernDomains.com
i received that email too and i guess they are not offering their free service anymore cuz maybe they can't keep up with it. They are recommending domainsbot.com. You have to consider that domainsbot is not a free service and you will have to pay to do expired domain name searches.
woah, didn't even know that the post above was my first post, sweet![]()
In my oppinion, local whois had the poorest free search in the industry. Not sure about paid version, but while searching by keywords I track in their free version I WAS ABLE TO FIND 5-10% of actual number of expiring/expired/dropping domains for this keyword!
