Oh yes..... several months ago there was some decent three-char infos available & I didn't pick them up as selling prices here didn't seem to be worth the hassle. :(

Also feel dumb for letting NorthEastWestSouth.com sit on my wish list that 1 extra day.

I was just reading through our posts and thought...here we are complaining about "missing the opportunity of a lifetime? and I suppose thats what everyone said who "missed out" on investing in a Ford Model-T when it first came out......Think about that....by 2004..any way you look at it, any one of those cars increased value. Same thing with real estate. It wasn't until all the land was taken that the huge prices came about...
My point being...in 20 years ...We will all be laughing all the way to the bank

Domains are consistently going up faster in value than land in many places.
But, then again, this thread is just for us to rant about the head banging we've done. It's nice to look back and learn from our mistakes.
The first day the .US registry opened I found BulletinBoard.US was available. I passed and someone took it a couple of days later. I probably should have reg'd it... would have been a good domain for a forum site.
WAL*BORG - Resistance is futile. You WILL shop here.
"Bulletin Board Us" would be a cool slogan for a free/paid forum hoster![]()

One just came to mind, I remember 6t9.com ... wish I regged that one.
I purchased www.4by.com as a college student 12 years ago, then I couldn't make my rent, I lost 200 domains because I could not pay the renewal. I had 45 three letter domains, but I really miss this one.
P.S. I have made up for it.
naff, this just too bad - happens all the time
just recently wanted to reg luxurytravelholidays.com and lost it to somebody else two days after
also dropped luxurymoscow.com recently
better not to think of it
also i recall having list of available 4 letters.com infront of me, there were so many, so i got headache from harvesting and got fed up with idea

two years at Internic. bummer. It was scooped up shortly after.

In 1994 I registered Computer(.)com.
Not bad.
In the same year, I could have registered sex(.)com but decided not to.
Not good.
lost hailmary dot c and a few others because I couldn't afford it and could have registered valencia dot c , but didn't have enough money. If I wasn't such a brokeass student, i could have got many MANY good domains..alas..I don't have any a-class domains left.
