Arrow What's the BEST Domain Name Sales Experience You've Ever Had?

O.K., I started the Strange Domain Tales thread... now onto the more positive side.

To be called out of the blue for a domain you've forgotten about and offered good money... now that's heaven. It happened to me twice now, once for 5K, the other for 6K (of course, that was awhile ago). Both transactions went smoothly, as well.

Still, some of you guys can be that, I bet. Tell it, brothers and sisters!

Gomains, what two domains did you sell?

(I haven't had any domain sales experiences worth telling.)

    Lord Baltimore,

I'll tell you one domain, because I have it back again (that story is under the "Strangest Domain Experiences" thread): OptiSell.com

The other dn is still owned by my buyer, and I don't feel comfortable divulging the complete domain out of respect for their privacy. Oddly, that one began with the prefix "Opta"! My two highest sales ever, and they both start with "Op"

Imagine getting 6K for an "Opta-something" .com today!

I sold a website/business (sunglasses) for $5,000. After I transferred everything to the buyer, she just closed the website. The name expired and I reregistered it. So $5,000 for FREE
