Country: | Well, no domainers buys IDNs in the aftermarket from what I can see. Mostly hand regs rule the day. And they quote 10s of thousands of dollars when selling them, so ROI must be great for those that do sell. I think IDN is overrated personally. The next big thing - brandable 5L.coms and premium 4L.nets.

Those sales more than $20,000 are usually native sale. Myself, i've got low to mid $xxxx sales that are private. Recently, a lot of idns, in the thousands have changed hands with private whois put on them. i know private whois is not free. When people are acquiring names that they know will go big one day, they normally want to stay low so that they can acquire more names for cheap. Sure there will be a few who would talk about it, but most, especially the big boys, will keep quiet and even to the extent of trying to hide their buying activity. ![]() ![]() Last edited by touchring; 05-27-2008 at 09:34 AM..

DNF$: 4,400 Location: liverpool engla | yes .es name are doing good i think .co.uk is by far the second best to .com because it pays alot more on clicks and and when you see names like cruises.co.uk going for 1.1million $. i think LLLL.co.uk are going to be worth alot. I think LLLL.net are a risk.

| Platinum Lifetime Member | What makes you think LLLL.co.uk are a better investment than LLLL.net? UK has a population of 60million while the U.S has a population of 300mil and more endusers. .Net is much more broad than .co.uk, it can be used all over the world. LLLL.net are already 50% sold out, how many LLLL.co.uk are left? Where are enduser LLLL.co.uk sales that may sway me?

Which end user will want to use LLLL.net or even LLL.net? For SEO purpose? ![]() No end user will want to play second fiddle by having the LLLL.net instead of the LLLL.com. For .co.uk, you don't get this problem. Last edited by touchring; 05-28-2008 at 12:54 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

DNF$: 110 Location: Illinois | I would not be expecting anything new for quite a while...My guess is that LLLLL.com's will come into style because of their major amount of brandability...But I personally think that the LLLL.net buyout will come before that, if it happens, and it will happen at around the end of 2008. Thats just my guess ![]()
