I've been getting "sorry for the inconvenience" now for a few weeks sporadically (webmail). Just keep refreshing and it will connect, but yeah, there's been a problem now for at least 2 weeks.

Yahoo sucks big time. I quit using my yahoo account two months ago.
Getting that damn message again today. They really do suck!

Try pressing the Reload or Refresh button on your browser, or signing out and back into Yahoo! Mail. Hopefully that will take care of things.
