A pharmacist arrives late at his pharmacy and sees a man leaning against the far wall of his store. His face clearly shows his discomfort.
"My gosh! What's wrong with that man?", he asked his assistant.
The assistant replied, "He came in for some cough syrup, but we were fresh out, so I gave him a double-dose of a laxitive to hold him over until you got in."
"You can't cure a cough with a laxitive!", the pharmacist snapped.
"Sure you can", came the assistant's defensive reply, "now he's afraid to cough."
