A young MBA was leaving the office late one evening when he found the CEO standing in front of a shredder with a piece of paper in his hand.
"Listen," said the CEO, "this is a very sensitive and important document here, and my secretary has gone for the night. Can you make this thing work?"
"Certainly," said the young executive. He turned the machine on, inserted the paper, and pressed the start button.
"Excellent, excellent!" said the CEO as his paper disappeared inside the machine. "I just need one copy."

The CEO's secretary has already went home.
So this dumb dumb boss thought that the paper shredder is a copier.
As he didn't know how operate the 'copier', he asked the young MBA guy to help him. And this MBA guy obviously thought that the CEO wanted to shred the piece of paper in the shredder. And that is exactly what he did!
So the piece of important document is now forever gone!

The MBA was supposed to ask " Yes Sir , I will make it work. What kind of work you want from this machine? " . This simple question would have avoided the mess - of paper and the MBA.
