Burglars Found Asleep Inside Home, Police Say

GASTONIA, N.C. --

Police in Gastonia arrested two people who they found asleep inside the home they are accused of breaking into.

Police said Cindy Dorn, 35, and Harold Dye,47, broke into a home on Keith Drive on Sunday afternoon. Police said that when they arrived, they found the two asleep in a bedroom.

Both suspects, who according to a police report live together on Airline Avenue, have been charged with breaking and entering.

Gastonia Police spokeswoman Donna Lahser said the home was vacant, and a management property employee reported the break-in.
