(AP News Wire) Obama Freezes PPC Payouts

In a surprise announcement today, President Obama has frozen all PPC Payouts.

"These huge payouts, by the pay-per-click companies, are just obscene. These companies are all getting rich, just by owning a few domain names. As near as we can tell, everyone using these PPC companies are getting rich. Some of these guys dont even have a job. They just sit around all day playing poker, and checking their ppc accounts."

Obama's spokesman indicated that instead of just freezing payout rates, there may even be reductions made in the allowed amount of ppc payments; and that there needs to be an annual review to see if even further reductions are warranted. He also said, "It might even be time for a new kind of tax."

"We are going to take a serious look at the Google Adsense payouts, too. They might be even higher than the PPC payments", said Obama, "althought I have no idea what Adsense is."

We were going to ask Google to comment, but we could not find a customer service link on their website.
