Yep. You only usually find that crap on free forums, or on forums where you haven't registered. Not where, in some cases, members have paid hundreds of dollars to join

If you are new to domains and looking to buy, sell and learn about domains then you have come to the right place. DNForum is the largest domain name community on the internet and continues to grow every day. There are over 105,000 domainers on DNForum doing everything from buying domains, selling domains, learning about domains and discussing domains. Take a minute and Register.
Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Aside from being annoying it often slows down my browsing of the site by a fair margin, now we have 3 large banner ads in every thread (4 including the header)
Having banner ads between posts is usually reserved for unregistered members of forums.

I don't mind the ads, nothing wrong about monetizing the forum as long as there isn't too much noise
I have a banner under the first post on my forum but I only annoy guests with it![]()
I've never used any sort of ad-blocker, although I've now gone ahead and installed one. Is much easier.
