Country: | Bloody eye banner ad -- offensive? Does anyone else find the banner ad of what appears to be a woman with a bloody eye, with the slogan "Don't get abused, too many domain sellers are selling garbage domains at premium prices" in very bad taste? |

The slogan will be "We might be short-staffed but our funbags are worth millions! Get your domain appraisals for a mere $6.99"

You know George...I was thinking the same thing last night when I saw it. I didn't think much about it as I thought it was just someone's mascara running from crying over paying too much for a domain.
I guess what got to me also was the text that went with it..
"Don't get abused...". Extremely poor choice of wording in my opinion.
They could have said something like..."Don't get caught crying because you spent too much for a domain.."
Some re-thinking might be in order...

What makes it worse is its IN YOUR FACE right at the top. They are spending tons of cash placing these ads when they need to spend some time on the creative side of the ads.

I thought it was blue ink running down her eye
I didn't undertsand why.
Now I see what they are getting at
What do you expect from a site that claims 87% of names sold for over 10k were certified premium
Now that is just plain old bs |

POLiSH, I personally don't find your avatar offensive, it if was a serious question. Can't speak for others.....oh wait. Come to think of it, I am a little offended. My mother once had flaming bones around her head. Are you trying to cause me emotional trama by making me think about her. |

But what is cool about this? http://www.advertisingspaces.net/ban...x90-abused.gif
Clearly she has been crying. Is she abused? Beaten? Or is it the domain that is abused?
Nothing cool about beating a woman (if that is a woman) and in very poor taste.
