The other thread got to long so it was time to start a new one.....

Invitations will go out tomorrow to potential committee members... for the below mentioned task force.

If you would like to be involved please indicate so below:

A new committee to analyse the future business development of the site will be formed to resolve these issues.

Will consist of 10-12 people that have ideas on the direction of the site.

The committee will dicsuss the business developments of this site and future direction and report back to the members.

Hello! Is anyone thinking in here? We all are interested or we wouldn't be Platinum. But you have to consider these things; Spring -- "May" is school graduation month, auction is on Sunday night which is "church night", fishing season, Tornado's took our town www.stocktonmo.com and much more, mowing yard twice a week for all the rain, must I go on? Who can add to this list? And I am being nice too. I could have said more ........about how our names not even getting a single bid, but I refrained from that. Time has a way of getting us all, so be patient folks. I hear all year long from folks that want a domain name that gets lots of hits and then when a person gets a name not alone a complete website to go with it and no one even ask about it, well it shows me that these people are " little dealers " Some did ask and I sent stats too," so I don't want to exaggerate any here. But ........ i'm done, enuff said for now. Give it time, it will be ok here. But we do need a committee to hash out details for the future tho`

I've been zipping my lip here for too long! Imagine that?
I cannot resolve in my mind why the formation of a committee of PAID members is being suggested here. It's time for the new ownership to step up to the plate here, and correct the ship. If they're looking for suggestions, excellent. But all a "committee" (volunteers who have already committed their time, energy, and MONEY into this site) will do is make it easier for management to then blame should their suggestions, committee actions not be effective or sufficient.
I mean, C'mon ... we need leadership, not committees. If you want suggestions, I'd be glad to provide them for free, most would. You want a committee? Sure. Add me to it, refund my $49.95, give me a competitive hourly wage, and/or a percentage of ownership ... then I MAY consider it.
