Country: | Shouldn't there be some type of limits imposed on how long a wanted thread can go on? http://www.dnforum.com/f422/cycle-cy...ad-340038.html It is essentially an abandoned thread. These wanted threads are a nuisance and occasionally creep up. Say these ran a week and then expired. These threads get purged out of the system. If the original poster is still looking then they can start a new thread at the end of the time period. It is the same with the perpetual taking offers threads. 4 years from now they will still be taking offers and no amount will ever be high enough, no BIN will ever be set, and we'll see the inevitable "thanks for the offers but looking for more." Limit and purge. Limit and purge. Kind of like Bush's Shock and Awe. But this action will have an exit strategy. |
