We've all had enough of that Digi Pawn ad
I've never seen that ad. I love flashblock.
Well, the CTR for the Digipawn banner just increased. I went over and checked out their service - very interesting.
Now looking at DNF advertising packages to see if there's something we can brand here.. hmmm

What kind of post is this! The advertise paid much fo rmuch time!
that's all!
Allowing any one advertiser to monopolize ad space (having more than say 30% or so) doesn't seem too wise unless perhaps the advertiser commits to a long ad campaign (ie. 6 to 12+ months), but hey what do I know LOL!

Domagon - Website Management and Domain Name Sales
Why is it not wise, Ron? Because DNF may be blocking out other potential advertisers? Who knows, there may be a contract for several months worth of buys to maintain the exclusive position.
OTOH, it may result in in eyeball saturation on the part of viewers. Then again, if the whole point of Digipawns campaign is to increase brand recognition (and not just CTR and conversions) then I think it is definitely working.
Just look at all this free added viral marketing we're giving them, hehehe....

Main reason is that multiple advertisers better ensures a more stable revenue stream; increased perceived value by advertisers that allows for higher pricing than what would likely be possible otherwise.
In regards to Digipawn - I'm quite sure they're making out well on the ad deal ... DNF on the other-hand, not so sure ... my big question, if I was running DNF, would be... where are all the other advertisers? - why aren't they advertising at DNF?

Good points, Ron, about the multiple sources of revenue.
As for Digipawn vs. multiple advertisers... perhaps they did a significant media buy that convinced DNF to give them exclusive for X period of time...
Hmm...

To tell you the truth I have learned to just ignore the ads since it is the same one. Only thing that bugs me is the Membership Upgrade at the top when I am already Exclusive.
jdk that also annoys meyour not alone
