DNF$: 0 Location: Michigan | DNFourm Time I would like to see a clock on DNForum. When some one adds a end time for a forum auction, depending on location and daylight saving time it seems to get very confusing. There is a clock on the lower end of this site, I live in the EST zone (-5). Depending on whether I'm loged in or loged out the time is not the same.

Country: | Hmm, I understand what you mean. Let me see how we can go about syncing these times better so it is not as confusing as it is. I will get back to you in a couple days to see what we can do. Thanks Huseyin, |

Country: | Hi, I have checked and there doesnt really seem to be a clock hack we can add. The forum is on EST time and you will have to pay attention to the sellers post as sometimes they highlight an end time in a different time zone based on where they live. I will continue to look and see if there is a way we can improve the time format. |

Country: | Is it on EST or EDT now? New York (Eastern US) is on EDT now (remember - spring ahead, fall back?) EST now is 1 hour behind EST. As I type this post it is 2:11PM EDT and 1:11PM EST.

Country: | Why not just display a formatted time() command saying this is DNF official time. At the bottom of the page it displays the time you have set in the options, but you can make a print out depending on where the server is located. This way if I have mine set to GMT-4, the DNF time may be different. Then when we start auctions the seller can specify the end time based on DNF's official time. Wouldn't need a hack to do this.

Country: | I don't know, it seems quite simple to me. There are definitely enough cgi and other codes for displaying time. Just make a clock, and let that be the official DNF time. Seems like a very good idea. |
