Google Indexing

What do people think about keeping DNF forum posts hidden from the search engine spiders? In many cases buyers and sellers do not want their domains offered for sale here pasted all over Google search results.

Do you agree?
Can this happen?
Will this happen?

The "exclusive sales" forum isn't indexed, I beleive. (But I may be wrong.)

As outlined in DNF rules, if you do not want your thread to be found by Google searches, use domain(dot)com or similar obfuscating style.

Google loves DNF, new threads appear in the index in a matter of hours.

Unfortunately I've found that the Google spiders somehow get around the domain(.)com approach.

It would cut into the owner's income. I don't see it happening ever.

Correct, Exclusive members can use the Exclusive Sales section - that's not indexed.
As accomatic pointed out, there is a way to avoid being spidered, by posting the domain as suggested.
http://www.dnforum.com/rules.php#10
"There's a solution for those avoiding spiders, you may use example(.)com or example(dot)com."
If you post it that way, and someone replies on the thread with the exact domain in their post, feel free to report it and a moderator or myself will correct the post to reflect the way you preferred it be posted.
That may be what happened to your thread that apparently was indexed.
