I can't access DNForum from my home computer for a few days now.
I think that my IP is blocked for some reason (no idea why) because:
1. From my work I can connect
2. Using a proxy (like right now), I can connect.
My IP is 80.178.201.236.
I also ran a network sniffer and it seems that after I make a GET request for the url www.dnforum.com, I get an ACK packet and right after it I get another ACK packet, but one with a reset flag set to 1, so the connection is being reset.
I opened 2 tickets in the support systems but didn't get any reply.
Would appreciate if someone could look into this issue.
Thanks
Idan
Hi.
I am facing same problem from last few hours. I connect through proxy it connects..
Can it be fixed soon..

It's still isn't fixed for me.
Yesterday I got a response from the "support system" saying that it should be OK now, but I still can't connect. (Now I'm using my work computer).
Had Duncan on msn.. even he cant connect to DNF..
Please fix it.
Thanks
Be Monday before the tech staff pick this up.
I'm glad to hear others are having the same problem. I thought I had caught something. I've been able to connect at 66.132.142.167, but the speed is really slow. I do hope it gets fixed soon.Originally Posted by Mr Webname

There have been a number of similar issues affecting different members at different times - I too had to use the IP for a while.
I had some problems yesterday but today everything is running smoothly

Yes i can connect through http://66.132.142.167
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsre...in=dnforum.com
The problem may be cause of Missing (stealth) nameservers.. dns3.ispserver.cx.
Thanks
both nameservers are on the same net route seems to be the more likely issue
For me it's OK now
I just tried now and it worked.
A few hours ago it was still down for me.
Ok that's good as we made some changes abou6t 1 hour ago that seemed to fix it all.
What happened is simple, we have a security susyem on our dns servers to block ip addresses of anyone that pings us more than 10 times a second. What happened after the dns changed was yours and others isps had queued us up alot and went it resolved they requested us like mad and got put on the block list. I emptied the block list and started it fresh and voila all are back on. Thank goodness!

Its fixed for me a hour back
Thanks ..
