indefinite offers/perpetual auctions

I was under the impression that there were rules in place regarding auctions and solicitations for offers.

It is getting quite ridiculous with some of the threads.

I saw one that basically stated "keep the offers coming. If I like what I see I'll sell it."

When? In the year 2012?

I am seeing some threads that are months old having been updated by the seller.

No actual timeframes are involved in the rules as to how sellers are allowed to construct their sales threads. The only timeframes used are basically how often they can actually create threads.
