    Keeping track of username changes

It's really necessary to implement a username tracking mechanism, with all the username changes that often occur - myself included :-D

Perhaps the profile should display the username history, just like on ebay.

Re: Keeping track of username changes

    The reason is twofold:

First, we can't easily keep track of who's who, what's their name, domain selling history etc.

Second, there are those sly ones that end up on one's blacklist but manage to change their username every 4 weeks and think they can fly under the radar.

Re: Keeping track of username changes

Would be nice if it was like on eBay when you change your name. It saves in your history.

The way it is now though, if someone changes their name, I think someone else can register as their old name, or change their name to be the other persons old name. This is not good of course.

I agree. A username history hack would be great - especially to help users to avoid doing business with scammers.

I am not really into vBulletin... Does such a hack exist?
