I was under the impression that these were either going to be restricted or done away with.
Today, I continue to see sales indicating "multi-forum post".
Frankly, this is becoming a huge turn off especially after this fiasco:

It's ok on sale threads as long as you can manage to update the thread and the potential buyers.
It's not allowed for auction threads.
I loved John's comment in that thread"Get organized" first - a classic.
is this a faux news update ?? a first??

I agree. As long as the seller updates the thread then there is nothing wrong with MFP. Posting on multi forums helps to sell the domain faster. There are a lot of threads that go unanswered sometime and no interest is shown in buying even after a few hundred views at one forum, while the domain/s are sold at another forum, so why limit and restrict to just one forum
Yes auctions should be limited to just one forum.

Updating and replying to pm(s)/post(s) is the key.
I agree that MFP posts should be allowed but ONLY if the seller can (and does) take the effort to UPDATE all the forums with deals and in a timely fashion.
It can be done fairly easily using a basic tool such as MS Excel and revising / editing the posts to indicate sold etc... (within hours, not days...)
