Why do you think I am wearing that hat? The horns would be a dead giveaway.

I think this site is going to be just fine...I agree w/you, Greg, the site is chugging along alright. Like I said in another post, people just need to relax, maybe read a good book and just enjoy life.

Let's revisit this prediction of yours in two months, and we'll see.

Online forums come and go like the wind. Making a stable one takes a lot of hard work and skill. Who here will provide that? RealNames???

More negativity? Why not just give it a rest?

If it thrives it thrives. If it dies it dies. Time will tell.

You've got to up that total Earl, so you can purchase a deep red devish "glow" to highlight your username.

PLEASE! Before any wild rumors get started I totally disavow any connection with the Devil! The Devil sucks, he is a psychopath, he registers .cc names!

Here, lemme' give you the rundown:

1. Dan is $5000-$7500 poorer that he thought he might be, but is suddenly feeling that he's now as jaded as his parents. They smoke cigarettes together. He now only posts occasionally on his own board. He's also hired the public relations firm of Slutsky and Slutsky so that he can tell his story on Connie Chung and make $20,000 doing national signings of "Domains For Dummies."

He's happier than ever. Things have actually worked out.

2. RealNames has decided to leave his house for the first time in more than 6 years, and 'boy, is it sunny!'. He finds that flowers bloom, children play, and conspiracies don't lurk around every corner. He can't believe his luck.

He tries not to think about the past much--it's far too painful.

3. DnPowerful, after triumphantly declaring that 'DnForum is the future of domains' just a few short days ago, is now reading books on chaos theory and quantum physics so he won't be proven wrong again.

Because in the last two weeks he's put more energy into bickering than he has selling domains, he now must return his brand new 7 Series BMW. The salesman frown at him from a distance when he pops in for free BMW calendars to hawk on ebay.

4. Timechange, a soft ban some months back that seemed slightly excessive, is now back at DnState.com, a strange example of how a regime change can sometimes lead to new beginnings.

5. GregR still posts cryptically off things, but continues to sell lots of domains off his site, but paradoxically, is pushing ahead with plans for a forum and escrow service. Apparently he's learned nothing here.

His new avatar was really funny the first time.

6. Dustbowls of squabbles by the smart and stupid alike continue, and most everyone is tired of it all and wondering why there wasn't more communication amongst the principals just a few days ago which might have prevented this all.

Nothing else much has happened.

Lead By Example?

Namebox, I don't know who you are, or why you've taken it upon yourself to yap at my heels across two forums, but since you're so fond of repeating yourself, let me repeat what I wrote to you at another forum earlier today about your self-appointed moderation and moral guidance:

Feel free to lead by example. I have no need to post another single word in this current dialogue between us. You?

Namebox, if you're so keen on advising people to "give it a rest," perhaps you could show us how it's done by giving telling people to "give it a rest," a rest.

But somehow, I suspect that's not going to happen. Like you wrote earlier today, "It just wouldn't "feel" right to allow you the last word."

Must be nice to have so much time on your hands.

Okay...

All I said was this place will be fine. Can you just agree to disagree every once in a while? Instead of making "and we'll see" comments?

This was a thread of positivity until you felt the need to repeat your gloomy-gus-switch-to-DnS-now self.

Completely off un-PC joke of the moment: "Arguing with someone on the Internet is like the Special Olympics. You might win, but you're still retarded." -C.M.

Take some Dan Bucks (before they devalue completely per you predictions) and buy yourself a sense of humour

Methinks my "last word" comments were made in jest, no? Not everyone's out to get you

Nuffin.com (excuses to goh) more to say.

Peace!
