I think some subforums lack the UTF-8 definition in the header. This one works now. Sometimes my PM's in Greek drop the capital letters or the letters with the accents.
I have the same problem than you with accented characters in my PMs.
Let's hope i will improve my english so.

The forum is supposed to be be UTF-8 capable:

Yeahbut then it could be that some mySQL tables are not defined properly. Do the accents show in Preview mode?
