Problems with loading the front page - DNForum - Domain Sales, Domain Forum, Domain Appraisals, Domain Registrars

When I access DNF the front page loads extremely slow, especially the parts that show the subfourms. It may take upto a minute to load this page. This happens since today. All other pages load normally, ie in a few seconds, but everytime I come back to the front page I have to wait another minute.

Anyone knows what's going on?

Same here. We are checking into it as it appears only to be the index page.

That's exactly right! Seems better today, though ... late y'day afternoon and even last night was pretty frustrating.

Hi Dingo!!! We are double checking it again, but as far as I know, nothing should have changed again to cause this.

I have the problem intermittently. No real rhyme or reason as to when it occurs - it just hangs and fails to load.

It's actually starting to piiiiiiiiiiiiiis me off now.
Happens every time I go back to the home page.
Another concern is if it is happening to me is it happening to new visitors and consequently losing them.

Is there anything I can do from my end to try and solve this?
Delete cookies or something??

Would appreciate any help.

I see this problem sometimes.

The banner is split into different parts, and when it is slow, the name comes up as DNFORUM.CC

The OM part comes sometimes later. Looks like we have a .CC extension when it's slow.

I have the problem of a slow home page every time
It started about 2 weeks ago
Every other DNF page loads very quickly, but the home page takes at least 20 seconds
(If I was surfin, I would not bother to stop at DNF)
It is even slow when using "Back"

There is still a difference though between the link from the image in the header with the link code

http://www.dnforum.com/

and the text link at the top which has the link code http://www.dnforum.com/index.php

the image link is slower.

Overall though it is a lot faster.

Today the home page returned to its usual high speed.
It now loads as fast as the other pages. (at least for me)
If it does hang , hitting refresh loads it immediately.

Homepage still takes ages to load for me as well.
